I've seen my fair share of insane buildings over the years but I reckon I just stumbled across one of the strangest yet in the form of a Chinese hotel. What's also interesting is that, to my knowledge, very few English speaking websites have seen or mentioned what has got to be one of the most bizarre pieces of hotel architecture on Earth.

Should you ever fly over San Francisco Bay, be sure to peer out of the window in order to catch a glimpse of one of the world's most incredibly coloured landscapes. It's hard to believe that the cause of such a vibrant display is plain old salt.

Before today it never occurred to me that pool tables would even exist on cruise ships and like most people I just assumed that a level table would be impossible to find on an enormous boat out at sea. What I hadn't entertained was the idea that someone would bother to design a pool table which uses a gyroscope to right itself no matter how choppy the water underneath.

The Dutch really know how to promote and encourage the use of green transport; specifically the humble bicycle. Apart from having to use some physical energy, one of the most common arguments against hopping on a bike rather than jumping in a car is that very few cities provide ample, secure parking for such a vehicle, let alone such a facility which is also well designed.
